I'M CYNTHIA, A UX DESIGNER WORKING IN CALIFORNIA.

At a young age, I have always been naturally curious about human behavior and technology. I never knew what kind of path I would take for my career growing up - I was always a lost kid until I stumbled onto UX design. My career path to UX design was definitely not a linear one.

I grew up in Southern California and received a B.S. degree in Cognitive Science with a Specialization in Human-Computer-Interaction at the University of California, San Diego in 2017. After I graduated, I made the move to Utah for an internship to jump start my career. Eventually, I landed in Austin, Texas for my first full-time role. After spending 5 years in Austin, I made the decision to move back to Southern California to be closer to my family.

I design things - with a specific focus on enterprise software. I use data and research to back up my design decisions. I arrange things on a screen that makes sense. I collaborate closely with my cross-functional teams to build customer-focused solutions at scale.

On my free time, I love to give back to the community and mentor others who are looking for advice in UX. Feel free to reach out if interested!
